Introduction: In this post I will be Researching the definitions of the term "skills"Its important to understand what skills are and what skills we will need to achieve in our upcoming project.

- skill is the learned capacity to carry out pre-determined results often with the minimum outlay of time, energy, or both.
- The ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well: Carpentry was one of his many skills.
- competent excellence in performance; expertness; dexterity: The dancers performed with skill.
- a craft, trade, or job requiring manual dexterity or special training in which a person has competence and experience: the skill of cabinetmaking.
A skill symbolise a certain ability you have achieved in doing something for example having the skill to play the piano or a more simplistic skill includes being able to work within a team. It explains a basic technique or talent which is progressed so it becomes natural for you to do. In my future media production it will be important to carry out, specific skill such as knowing media terminology, the ability to work with media equipment, handling equipment safely ,the ability to work editing software and carrying out team work.
